A Former Plate is a platformer a little... Special.

You've built a game and you want your players to give it a try ! Unfortunately most of the levels are not complete ! You ought to give them a little help if you wish for them to enjoy their experience. They may even collect plates along the way !

A game made for GMTK game jam 2023 : Roles Reversed

EDIT : tweening won't work if you pause the player after starting it; you can still place and remove block but it will only show after resuming.

Controls :

Select blocks in the left menu, left click to place them on the map, and the character will automatically try to go to the door. On the way, if it finds a path to the plate, it will make a detor to try and collect it.

Right click or pick the eraser to remove blocks. You can also pick up the blocks you placed by left clicking.

You can pause and unpause with SPACE or lever button.

You can display pathfinding to the plate and to the door (The green is the preferred path at a given time)

BACKSPACE to Respawn if needed
